TRIANGLE Episode 25

It is time to face reality.

Young Dal informs Yang Ha that Pil Sang is after him. Yang Ha already knows and tells them not to concern themselves since he can take care of it himself. He tries to walk away when Young Dal yells after him. Young Dal tells him Pil Sang wants more than his position, he wants his life. Dong Soo warns Yang Ha his life is in danger. Young Dal shares that Pil Sang was behind his almost hit and run. He believes either Pil Sang or Bok Tae or both are behind all of this. They know about their relationship and how Yang Ha is no longer favored by Chairman. Dong Soo says they can't have Pil Sang thrown behind bars because all they have is knowing his intentions to kill. He warns Yang Ha to be cautious. Yang Ha scoffs. He asks why it matters to them if he lives or dies. He tries to leave again, but Young Dal goes to grab him. Young Dal angrily asks why he is acting like a child when his brothers are just worried about him.  Yang Ha claims that Chairman is the one to raise him and considers him his father. He sees Young Dal and Dong Soo as people who have a grudge against his father. He yells at them not to tell him what to do anymore. He yanks Young Dal's hands off of him and leaves. Dong Soo holds Young Dal back from going after Yang Ha. Dong Soo tries to assure him that Yang Ha understood what they said despite the way he talked. He doesn't believe Yang Ha is ready to accept them yet. Yang Ha returns to his office and opens up a drawer. He takes out a bottle and consumes one pill. He looks very somber.

President Min and Man Bok are making their way to Young Dal when Man Bok notices a man (the hit man) walk by. He seems familiar. The crew is assembled and President Min informs them the plan is all set. Young Dal asks her to take care of it immediately. It finally dawns to Man Bok who the man he saw earlier is. It is Dong Suk Bum. He is known to have learned his knife skills from the person who stabbed Dong Soo. The guys think Suk Bum must be after Young Dal. Young Dal asks if they can get a picture of him. He turns to President Min and asks her to have her men capture this guy immediately. He informs the crew Suk Bum is after Yang Ha. Not soon after the meeting, Junho hands Young Dal the picture President Min managed to get. He angrily storms off.

Yang Ha is on his way out when he gets a call from Young Dal. He decides to ignore the call. Young Dal is trying to find him. One of the workers informs him Yang Ha just left. In the parking garage, Yang Ha is making his way to the car. He is unaware he is being followed. Young Dal comes running and sees the two. The hit man pulls out his knife. Young Dal yells out Yang Ha's name. Yang Ha turns around to see Young Dal charging at the hit man. Young Dal manages to tackle him and kick the knife away. A van pulls up and the hit man gets away. Yang Ha stands in shock. Young Dal approaches him and asks if he is okay. Yang Ha doesn't say anything.Young Dal hands him the picture of the hit man, telling him this is the guy who just tried to kill him. Young Dal informs him he didn't want to be concerned with his problems either. He tells Yang Ha to take care of his own problems from now on.

Young Dal and Dong Soo meet up to talk about the parking garage incident. Young Dal asks if Dong Soo knows a guy named Dong Suk Bum. Dong Soo is familiar with the name. Young Dal informs him he has Man Bok and his men on the case. Dong Soo makes a call to a detective, telling him to bring Dong Suk Bum in for attempted murder. After the call, he questions how Pil Sang could know the guy. Young Dal is sure Bok Tae is linked in all of this. He warns him that they need to prepared when they go after Pil Sang. Now at the office, Junho tells the crew about how Pil Sang uses 2 phones. Young Dal gives the crew the same warning. Jang Soo assures him they'll get the evidence no matter what.

President Min is on the phone. She asks the person on the line if they still have checks and bonds from Chung-Jin Construction. She tells the person to cash them immediately. After the call, she talks about it with Man Bok. She tells him how Young Dal's plan is beyond making Bok Tae's company go bankrupt.

Pil Sang asks Bok Tae how the plan is going. Bok Tae assures him he has someone on it. He asks how many Dae-Jung shares did Pil Sang acquire from his father. With Pil Sang's 8% combined with Bok Tae's shares, it isn't even comparable to how much Yang Ha and Young Dal have. Bok Tae's man suddenly enters. He informs Bok Tae that all of the bonds and checks for Chung-Jin Construction has been redeemed. Bok Tae asks how much do they need. He reports back 60 billion won. Right now they only have 15 billion won. Bok Tae orders him to find out who is behind this. Pil Sang informs him he can be arrested if he can't get the money. He asks if he knows who is behind this. Bok Tae shakes his head. Bok Tae asks what Pil Sang thinks of him going to ask Chairman for the money. Pil Sang basically tells him it is unlikely.

Jang Soo and Jerry install hidden cameras and listening devices in Pil Sang's office after everyone in the office has left.

Man Bok manages to catch Suk Bum and has him in a boiler room. Dong Soo is there to get information. When Suk Bum doesn't give him the answers he wants, Dong Soo beats him. Man Bok has to hold Dong Soo back. Dong Suk finally confesses that Soo Chang from Chung-Jin Construction hired him.

Bok Tae is informed that President Min is behind it. His man deducts she is working for Young Dal, who is using Elder's money. Bok Tae has a fit and demands he bring Young Dal. Bok Tae's man tells him getting the funds is more important right now. Bok Tae goes directly to Chairman. He kneels before Chairman and asks for his help. Chairman tells him to find help somewhere else. Bok Tae stands back up and says he won't sit back quietly if he acts this way. Chairman is amused as he was expecting Bok Tae to resort back to his gangster ways. He dismisses him, telling him he doesn't care what he does. With that Chairman leaves. Bok Tae's man suggests he sell his Dae-Jung shares. Bok Tae is livid that he would actually suggest this, seeing how much he had to go through to get the shares. His man tells him he has to.

Yang Ha is drinking away at a bar. Miss Sung is there, keeping him company. She asks if he has had enough to drink as he is pouring himself another glass. He replies that he wishes to get drunk, but it probably won't happen. He throws back another drink before filling up his glass once again. She asks him to get to the point. He isn't having it tonight and tells her to stop. She asks if he remembers the first time they met. He doesn't. She recalls it was at a birthday party over 10 years ago. He was infamous for his suicide attempts. He preferred to be alone, which was what caught her interest. She found him to be mysterious and cool. That was when her feelings for him started. She tells him her feelings were sincere and asks how he thought she felt when he ignored her. Yang Ha shares that he thought she wasn't capable of having feelings. He apologizes to her. She comments that the look in his eyes is same from when they first met- sad and lonely.

Dong Soo and  Young Dal arrive together to Jung Hee's home. Grandma is happy to see them, but also sad. She is reminded of her son. They all sit around the table. Grandma asks if their mother's funeral went well. They assure her it did and thanked her for her concern. Grandma feels bad for her. Young Dal changes the subject by asking her how Dong Soo was as a child. This brings a smile to her face. She remembers him as mature and nice. Young Dal asks Dong Soo what happened since he has a temper now. Dong Soo says it stems from bitterness from having to survive in the world. Grandma asks about their other brother. Dong Soo confirms the rumor she heard about Dong Woo was true. She asks if it was a good thing that he was adopted by a rich family. Dong Soo agrees since he didn't have to suffer.

Yang Ha drunkenly goes to the underground casino. He came to gamble, but there are no customers. He tells Madame Jang to call Young Dal. Man Kang tries to convince him to go home because Young Dal might not come if they ask.Yang Ha assures them he will if they let him know he is asking for him.

After leaving Jung Hee's home, Dong Soo informs Young Dal that they got Suk Bum's confession. He confessed it was Soo Chang of Chung-Jin who hired him. Young Dal asks if he named Pil Sang. Dong Soo believes Suk Bum doesn't even know Pil Sang. Just then, Young Dal gets a call from Madame Jang. She tells him about the situation and asks if they should send Yang Ha home. Young Dal tells her he'll come. After he hangs up, Young Dal tells Dong Soo that Dong Woo is asking for him.

Young Dal enters the underground casino and they point him towards where Yang Ha is. Young Dal approaches him. Yang Ha asks to play Texas Hold'em. Young Dal tells him he is drunk and suggests he go home to sleep. Yang Ha admits he is drunk, but informs him he can still play. Yang Ha suggests they play while betting their lives. If Yang Ha wins, he wants Young Dal to leave Dae-Jung. If Young Dal wins, he gets to tell Yang Ha what he wants. Young Dal asks if he is really going to give him what he wants. Yang Ha says yes and Young Dal agrees to play.

Man Kang deals the cards. The brothers look somber. Madame Jang and Man Kang can feel the sadness in the room. Man Kang finishes dealing before telling the guys to reveal their cards. They both reveal their cards. Yang Ha looks slightly taken aback. Young Dal wins. Yang Ha comments that he has the worst luck. He tells Young Dal he can ask for anything he wants. He asks if Young Dal wants him to disappear from Dae-Jung. Young Dal tells him he doesn't need to. Young Dal wants Yang Ha to call him hyung. Yang Ha laughs at this idea. He takes a sip of his drink and passes out. Young Dal looks on sadly. Madame Jang tries to alleviate the situation by telling Young Dal he won't be hearing Yang Ha calling him hyung tonight. Young Dal asks them to let Yang Ha sleep on their couch. Man Kang sighs and tells him not to worry before suggesting he go home and rest. Young Dal takes one last look at Yang Ha before leaving.

Pil Sang is on the phone with Bok Tae. Junho is watching Pil Sang from the surveillance camera. He informs Young Dal that Pil Sang is talking to Bok Tae. Young Dal streams the live feed. He smiles as he hears that Bok Tae is going to sell his shares. He immediately calls President Min with the news. She is all set. He asks her to reveal that he was behind it after the deal is done. She asks if that is really okay and he answers yes.

Madame Jang goes to wake up Yang Ha. He doesn't remember anything. Madame Jang fills him in on everything that happened including the bet. Yang Ha arrives to Dae-Jung and runs into Young Dal. Young Dal asks if he remembers anything from last night. Yang Ha doesn't look him in the eye and remains silent. Young Dal just walks away.

Jang Soo's father comes to the casino to ask about the rumor that has been spreading around town. The rumor is that Lucky Casino is going to be open to the public. Jang Soo quietly tells him Young Dal started the rumor and that he doesn't need to know why.

Leader Hwan gets word of this rumor when she was asked about it in the dealer's lounge. She calls Pil Sang. He assures her it won't happen and tells her to inform the dealers it isn't true. After the call, Pil Sang orders Leader Bae to find out who started the rumor.

The deal is signed and the funds are being transferred. Bok Tae's man asks to meet with the buyer. The other man goes to call the buyer to ask if they can meet. After hanging up, he is told the buyer is willing to meet.

Bok Tae is informed they still need 7.5 billion won even after the deal. Bok Tae tries calling someone to heckle some money from them. After being hung up on, he orders one of his men to do whatever they need to do to get money.

President Min reveals herself. Bok Tae's man asks if she was after their shares the entire time. He easily deducts Young Dal was behind it. Young Dal gets a call from President Min, telling him it is all done. He tells the rest of the crew that they are now the largest shareholder in Dae-Jung.

A representative from Hanhchang meets with Chairman and Yang Ha to ask them to join their investment deal with Anderson Group. He says Miss Sung had a lot to do with it. After the representative leaves, Chairman expresses that he feels like he can finally breath, but this doesn't last long. Jin Soo enters and tells them Bok Tae's shares went to Young Dal. Young Dal is now the largest shareholder. Chairman orders Jin Soo to find out why this happened.

Bok Tae is informed that they are 3 billion won short and the company is now bankrupt. Bok Tae looks defeated. His man breaks the news that the buyer of his shares is Young Dal. Bok Tae starts manically laughing.

Pil Sang gets a call from Bok Tae, wanting to meet. Bok Tae says he'll be right over. Leader Hwan enters and asks if everything is over. He assures her things will turn around. He explains that Bok Tae is going crazy right now. Young Dal is going to pay the price for making him lose his mind.

The crew has gathered to celebrate Young Dal's victory. Jang Soo is MCing the event. Young Dal is asked to say a few words. He thanks everyone for their help with his mother's funeral. Everyone there helped him without asking for anything in return. He promises to protect and repay everyone for the rest of his life. He gets a round of applause. He turns attention to Jung Hee and thanks her for being by his side. He tells her he loves her. The crew cheers for them to kiss.

Yang Ha is walking the streets. He seems preoccupied in his thoughts.

Back at the party, the crew is having a grand ole time as they sing and dance. Young Dal is called up to sing a song. A song from their past starts playing. If you remember, there is song in the first few episodes that the brothers use to sing (for Yang Ha, it is a song he didn't know why he was drawn to). As the song plays, we see Dong Soo drinking away, Yang Ha walking aimlessly, and Young Dal singing this song. Bok Tae is heading to the casino with multiple vans following.

Bok Tae arrives to Pil Sang's office.

Junho is watching the surveillance footage as he listens in on their conversation.

Bok Tae is absolutely pissed. He is determined to kill Young Dal tonight.

Junho runs back into the party to inform them they are in big trouble. He shows Young Dal the footage. Pil Sang is suggesting to Bok Tae that they can do worse to Young Dal than just killing him. The best way to get back at Young Dal is to kill Yang Ha. Bok Tae agrees, saying Yang Ha's death will torment the brothers. He goes on to say the pain of losing a brother will last a lifetime. He orders his man to find Yang Ha.

President Min orders Man Bok to gather their men. Young Dal orders Junho to find Yang Ha. Young Dal calls Dong Soo, telling him Dong Woo is in danger.

Yang Ha is making his way back to the casino.

Many men exit the vans that were following Bok Tae.

Young Dal and Dong Soo are running to find Yang Ha.

Thoughts:
Ah...this isn't looking too good...not good at all.

I don't know what it is going to take for Yang Ha to finally see the light and accept his brothers. It is obvious that their words have been getting to him in the last few episodes. I get that he wants to remain loyal to Chairman. But doesn't he get that his life is in danger? What needs to happen for him to let his guard down?

The whole scene at the underground casino was so somber. Their sadness can really be felt by viewers. It pained me when Yang Ha laughed at Young Dal's request (but not long after I chuckled at Yang Ha's passed out position). Hopefully, Young Dal gets to hear Yang Ha call him hyung at least once before the show ends.

Young Dal's plan was well played. You gotta give him that.

I've been waiting for Bok Tae to lose it, but I wished he lost his mind over Chairman.

The song that the brothers sang/heard in the earlier episodes reappeared towards the end. I was really hoping the entire time that the show wouldn't forget it. But I would have like just the tiniest bit of insight on the song.

With one episode left, I really hope for the family reunion I've been waiting for. But for some reason I don't think it will happen as how I would like it. If you look up the lyrics to the song played at the very end of the episode, it feels like they are foreshadowing a death. I really hope it isn't one of the brothers.
